New two-layer construction; most monofilament wigs have only one layer. The single layer tends to cause scalp irritation (such as itchiness and sores). Rene of Paris has improved the monofilament wig by creating a second layer for additional comfort. Another important benefit is the chameleon-like base layer, which has the ability to match your own individual scalp color.
